Founder & CEO

Dianne Black Robinson is Founder & CEO of Black Collie Capital and is directly responsible for originations, underwriting and structured debt and equity financing. Ms. Robinson also oversees the expansion and growth of the company.

Ms. Robinson has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, investments and capital markets. Prior to Black Collie Capital she founded BCRE a real estate investment company that focuses on the investments and operation of multifamily properties. Prior to BCRE from 2002 -2012 she was at Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT as a Real Estate sales and investment Specialist. As a real estate Specialist she worked with investors in all aspect of real estate including development, investment, financing, advisory, underwriting and due diligence. Prior to an investment specialist she was a financial analyst at a midsize bank in Chicago where she worked directly with the CFO on the banks strategic financial and investment initiatives.

Dianne is an active member and participant in numerous professional and community organizations such as Urban Land Institute (ULI), Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC), ONBOARD and Habitat for Humanity. She continues to mentor young people in the real estate industry and volunteer at her alma mater DePaul Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK)

Dianne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance from DePaul University Driehaus College of Business.
